RICHMOND — Cheerleading squads, dance teams, and step teams from across the state came to Eastern Kentucky University's Alumni Coliseum on Satuday to participate in the Cheer Elite 2013 Capital Cup Championships. All teams participating in the competition received a trophy, regardless of score and number of teams in their divisions. Other awards were given for Grand Champion, Best Choreography, Spirit Award and Coach of the Year Awards.
