Field to Fork Festival set for Saturday, rain or shine

Halcomb's Knob Farm

RICHMOND —

The Field to Fork Festival at Halcomb’s Knob Farm six miles west of Berea on Saturday, 9a.m. to 6 p.m. will bring together community gardening professionals, urban homesteaders, gardening enthusiasts and small-scale agricultural producers.

The farm is located on on Old Wallaceton Road near the Garrard County community of Carter-sville.

A selection of outdoor workshops will include 60-minute, 90-minute or 2-hour “make-it and take-it” agricultural/gardening projects as well as general “classroom (or in our case, barn-room) style” presentations that will engage and educate festival attendees.

Admission is $10 for adults, $7.50 for seniors and $5 for youth under 18.
