RICHMOND —
Several junk tires and car rims, worth more than $3,000, were reported stolen Thursday from a car lot on Big Hill Avenue, Richmond.
A representative of Cars of Kentucky told police that the junk wheels had been stolen Tuesday night from the rear of the business.
The items stolen were four Jeep rims, five Toyota Sequoia rims with Michelin tires, four Toyota Tundra rims with Michelin tires and four Wrangler rims with Wrangler tires.
The tires and rims were worth $3,150, according to a Richmond police news report.
Other crimes:
A resident in the 200 block of Evansdale Avenue told police that an Intertek DVD player, worth $150, was stolen from her home sometime during the previous 10 days.
