WINCHESTER —
A Berea woman is dead following a three-car accident Monday morning on Boonesboro Road in Clark County.
Britta Richmond, 25, died from blunt force trauma, according to Clark County Coroner Robert Gayheart.
WKYT-TV news in Lexington reported that a second female driver was airlifted to the University of Kentucky Regional Medical Center and a third male driver was taken to Clark County Regional Medical Center where he was treated for minor injuries.
Officials said speed and “destructive driving” most likely played a factor in the accident which occurred at approximately 8 a.m. at the intersection of Boonesboro Road with Tangleridge Lane, about two miles from Winchester.
