Hello everyone.
Saturday was the benefit singing for Vickie Grant Brummett. With the help of family, friends, area churches, local business and the community center, $1,950 was raised for her medical bills.
The night was filled with lots of food, music and auctioneering. Ron Lam is not only Lancaster’s police chief, he is a funny auctioneer, too. We all had massive fun, with great results to some help someone in need.
Don’t forget that tonight Proof of Grace from the Full Gospel Tabernacle will be on the Beattyville TV channel WLJC. It is telethon time, so call in with your donations to support the group.
Susie and Doug Tussey have the Roundhill store up and running. Susie said not everything has arrived yet, but they needed to get it open. I visited the other day, and Susie was busy getting the breakfast orders. It is nice, once again, to see the all the farmers gathered around the tables before a day’s work.
