RICHMOND —
Mayfield Elementary School students competed in the regional Student Technology Leadership Program (STLP) on Nov. 20 in Somerset.
The students presented a project titles “Mayfield Stomps Out Littering” which focused on preventing littering in the community. The purpose of the project is to inform students, parents and the community about how and why not to litter.
Students earned a score of 108 and will compete at the STLP state competition in March at Rupp Arena in Lexington.
