RICHMOND —
Two homes in Richmond were burglarized Wednesday, according to the Richmond Police Department.
A resident in the 900 block of Villa Drive reported that his apartment had been broken into during the day and a safe was stolen. Entry was gained by breaking the rear glass door, according to the RPD.
The safe is charcoal-colored and 18 inches by 8 inches by 6 inches.
The safe contained a bottle of prescription medication and an undisclosed amount of cash.
In the second incident, a resident in the 300 block of Michelle Drive reported that his home had been unlawfully entered during the morning, and a Sony PlayStation 3 and LG 60-inch TV, worth a total of $750, were stolen.
There were no signs of forced entry, according to the RPD.
A third burglary was reported Wednesday even though the incident occurred Saturday.
A resident in the 200 block of Calumet Drive told police that a set of Beats by Dr. Dre headphones and $65 in cash had been stolen from her apartment. There were no signs of forced entry, the RPD reported.
The total loss was $185.
iPhone reported stolen during private party
A complainant reported Monday that her white iPhone 4 in a purple and white Otter Box was stolen Dec. 6 while she attended a private party at the Cherry Pit. The estimated loss is $490.
