Civil War pistol

Marshall Myers, president of the Madison County Civil War Round Table, displays a Colt .44 which belonged to Gen. Jefferson C. Davis of Indiana who shot and killed Gen. William “Bull” Nelson in Louisville. The pistol, purchased at auction by the MCCWRT, will be donated to the Battlefield Park’s visitor center, where it will be displayed permanently.
