This building, known as the Old Creamery, at the corner of First and Irvine streets was purchased by in early December by the Madison Fiscal Court. Constructed in the first quarter of the 19th Century, it has served as Richmond�s post office, a dairy collection point and a law office. The Madison County Historical Society is petitioning fiscal court to preserve it.
