Peter Sigilai, an Eastern Kentucky University graduate student, is surrounded by children in his native Kenya during a recent three-week visit with fellow Kenyan and EKU grad student Ben Cheruiyot and EKU faculty member Dr. Jason Marion. The three men worked to identify the health risks of drinking water in an impoverished rural region of the East African nation. Both Cheruiyot and Sigilai first gained fame as a collegiate runners in the United States.
