"It's a city of Richmond project for FAHE (Federation of Appalachian Housing Enterprises)," Betsy Milburn, Richmond's community development director, explained. "It's part of our community development project." Eight homes on Westover Avenue and Tipton Court wait to be demolished to build a 10-unit residential care complex with three buildings.

Do you support the Richmond City Commission’s proposal to fund three additional firefighters by taking $100,000 originally planned as capital outlay for city parks and another $110,000 by not restoring the uniform allowance for police officers and firefighters?

Yes. The firefighting force was stretched dangerously thin.
