Joe Bowen, 63, rides Tuesday through downtown Richmond as part of of his bicycle odyssey across the United States which began in California. Bowen, an Eastern Kentucky University graduate who made the same bicycle trip in 1967 when he was 24, will have biked more than 14,000 miles by Saturday when the journey ends in Stanton.
