Train kills pedestrian off Red House Road

Mid-afternoon Saturday

RICHMOND —

A male pedestrian who was walking north along the CSX railroad off Red House Road at Sam Jones Road was hit and killed by a train Saturday afternoon, according to Madison County Coroner Jimmy Cornelison.

He did not disclose the victim's identity or age.

More information would be available Saturday evening, Cornelison said.
