William Leroy Dawes and Diana Dawes wait Wednesday in Madison Circuit Court to change their pleas in the beating death of their child, Serenity Dawes. William Dawes pleaded guilty to murder and first-degree criminal abuse, and Diana Dawes pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter and first-degree criminal abuse.
