Three indicted in Berea duplex blaze, meth lab
A Madison grand jury indicted three Berea residents Wednesday in connection with a duplex fire that led to the discovery of a meth lab.
The next-door neighbors to 900-A Weeping Willow Dr. called police about 9 p.m. Nov. 13 and reported a disturbance, said Capt. Ken Clark, then-Berea Police spokesperson, in an earlier report. The neighbors said there were sounds and smoke coming from the apartment.

2 arrested for copper thefts from utility poles
Two Richmond men were arrested earlier this week for allegedly stealing copper from utility poles.
Police arrested Jeffrey W. Nester, 46, of Fourth Street, and John H. Nester, 42, of Moberly Avenue, in connection with copper thefts.

In 2012, most Americans are still finding it difficult to “make a stash,” according to America Saves, a national campaign dedicated to helping individuals save money, reduce debt and build wealth.
